Nunavut Eastern Arctic Shipping (NEAS) provides marine transportation services to communities throughout the Arctic.

Nunavut Umiaq Corporation (NUC) was established in 1999 between Sakku Investments Corp. (33.3%), Qikiqtaaluk Corporation (33.3%) and Makivik Corporation (33.3%), the Inuit land claim entity in Nunavik, Quebec.

NUC holds 51% ownership of Nunavut Eastern Arctic Shipping (NEAS) and 50% ownership of Transport Umialarik Inc. (TUI). Transport Nanuk, a venture between two publicly traded companies, Northwest Company and Logistic Corporation, owns the balance of shares.
