Inuktitut Fonts
In order to view Inuktitut webpages correctly, you will need to have the Pigiarniq font installed on your computer.
How to Install a Font
Windows
- Download InuktitutFontsPC (374 KB) for Windows. When you click on this link, you will start to download the zip file to your computer.
- Double-click the Fonts icon in the Control Panels folder.
- Drag the Pigiqarniq font files into the Fonts window to install them. (The other fonts may be helpful in viewing Inuktitut on other websites.).
- Got to the test page to see if the Pigiarniq font is visible in your browser.
MacOS X 10.3 or later
- Download the following Pigiarniq font files: Regular, Bold, Italic, Heavyand Light.
- As you click each font file a sample of that font style will be displayed.
- Click the Install Font button for each one.
- Got to the test page to see if the Pigiarniq font is visible in your browser.
