PAIL manages and operates 47 north Warning System radar sites and five logistical support sites across Canada's northern regions under contract with the Government of Canada.

Pan Arctic Inuit Logistics Corporation (PAIL) is jointly owned between Inuvialuit Development Corporation (19%), Makivik Corporation (19%), Labrador Inuit Development Corporation (19%), Nunasi Corporation (15%), Qikiqtaaluk Corporation (15%), Kitikmeot Corporation (9%) and Sakku Investments Corp. (4%).
