Strong partnerships are the foundation of the new Sakku Innovative Building Solutions (SIBS) modular housing factory. Sakku was honoured to welcome Inuit leaders from across Inuit Nunangat for a tour of the SIBS facility last week while they were in the community to celebrate Arviat’s selection as the main campus for the new Inuit Nunangat University. Thank you to Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami, Hamlet of Arviat, Nunavut Tunngavik Inc., Kivalliq Inuit Association, ᒪᑭᕝᕕᒃ – Makivvik, Nunatsiavut Government, Government of Nunavut, Senator Nancy Karetak-Lindell and Nunavut Arctic College for visiting SIBS as it nears construction completion and celebrating these exciting and transformative projects.
